I've always worked out and thought I was in pretty good shape. But, I knew that I was bored with what I'd been doing and could find any excuse in the world to skip a workout. My weight was creeping up and I had a closet full of clothes that didn't fit. I decided that I needed help, not a decision that came easily for me. Karine's program sounded logical and most of all, she lives what she teaches and she looks great, so you know it has to work.

Fast forward 22 weeks and the results are nothing short of amazing. No magic bullet - just imaginative workouts that tackled multiple body parts simultaneously. These are high energy hours spent sweating, groaning, and surprise, surprise -- laughing! Karine has an amazing ability to make you happy while she's killing you! Most importantly for me, she has a complete understanding of the body's musculature and can explain and demonstrate each exercise in full detail.

Results -- I've gone from a too tight size 10 to purchasing size 6 jeans for the first time in my adult life. When the clothes in my closet don't fit now, it's because they are too big! My diet changed very little and I have never felt deprived. I've been this weight before in my life, but I've never been in this kind of shape. And that is all thanks to Karine, her dedication, professionalism and happily for me, her friendship.

"Speaking as one who has been, in the past, chronically afraid of running and carb watching, I have to say I've had quite a turnaround in more ways than one after having my workouts with Karine . I learned a lot about my eating habits that has definitely helped me improve my diet in subtle ways without cutting out the things I love. I'm more conscious at restaurants when ordering and I avoid snacks much more than I ever have before. On the workout sides, I can say that anyone who walks into that weight room should be ready for a beating, because the reps can be pretty brutal... and that's exactly what I needed. My waste is trimmer, and I've definitely gained some noticeable muscle mass; I may not have been happy when I was pumping out the push-ups, but by the end I felt a great sense of accomplishment, especially since Karine's workouts are designed to show improvement on specific exercises, and I most certainly improved. The greatest place I saw this was the cardio work in the short jog/sprints through the neighborhood. During the first jog, I found myself slowing to a walk several times, and it took me an embarrassingly long time to finish the course. By the end of the 12 weeks, I was zipping through the course like it was (almost) nothing, and even found I was able to carry on a conversation without huffing and puffing the whole time. I'd call that a major overhaul any day. All in all, I was immensely appreciative of the work Karine put into improving my fitness and I would recommend this program to anyone who feels like they're having trouble shedding some excess mass."
